The Power Step Grader Access System provides two Access Systems in one. Power Step introduced a new ladder design providing operators with safe access to and around the cab.

• The left-hand side is a hydraulically activated ladder hinged to a large split-level platform. This allows operators and service personnel to carry out duties in and around the cab.
• The right-hand side has exactly the same size platform, but with an emergency/mechanical ladder installed.
• The Power Step Power Pack operates the hydraulic cylinder on the LHS. It is a two-ladder system, with one ladder on either side of the operator's cab. This design provides the ability to access all areas of the cab and includes a safe working platform to the service personnel.

• Power Step went one step further and designed the Rear Tandem Folding Handrails for the CAT "M" series grader. This handrail design was to provide service personnel with safe working platforms along the grader's rear tandem mudguards.
