Power Step has designed folding handrails to allow full machine articulation during operation; Rear Tandem Handrails.

• The handrails are necessary to provide safety access for service personnel to use the grader mudguards when servicing the machine. 
• The rear tandem-folding handrails are also interlocked with the park brake.
• When the park brake is released the handrails fold inwards and lie flat on the mudguards, when the park brake is applied the handrails can then be raised. A proximity switch provides the necessary alarms to caution the operator.
