The Fixed Stair Design is predominantly for Service Trucks and Water Trucks, which frequently stop on haul roads to service other mobile equipment.

• The Fixed Stair Extension is a continuation of the diagonal stair, with the exception of three or four step treads, which are fixed to a textile reinforced rubber material. This allows flexing of the stair extension when the truck is moving, thus minimizing structural damage to the stair.
• The design also allows the operator and/or the service personnel to access the truck freely without having to wait for the folding stair to deploy.

This design is ideal for smaller haul trucks also; such as the CAT 769, 773 or Komatsu HD325, HD405, HD465 and HD785.
